Wondering how Large your Future Stump needs to be? to be Carved? Well, the more "Meat" the better the Carving. If your able to talk to your Carver before your tree topples over then Great. Problem solved. Unfortunately what I run across is just the opposite. I get called after the tree is cut down. Or there is only enough Stump to do a small small and even a smaller carving. So if your thinking about cutting down a tree in your yard? 1). Ask your Local Tree Person if he knows of a Wood Carver. 2). Take a browse on the internet and look at Carvings. 3). Ask your Tree Person about Safety, decaying wood, rotten wood areas or around the base of the stump. 4).
